FWWMUN

The Future We Want Model of United Nations (“FWWMUN”), inspired by the Rio+20 Resolution of 2012, is committed to promoting a united international community, a better future and a more sustainable world through the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). FWWMUN has identified 10 goals from the 17 SDGs as key areas related to youth and education to guide the work of this organization. FWWMUN takes place at the UN Headquarters in New York City, USA.

Participation 2018

It is in 2018 that through the Secretary General of UADYMUN that for the first time a delegation of 12 students from the Autonomous University of Yucatan, applies and obtains the scholarship to participate in the FWWMUN. This delegation arrives to the city of New York, United States, prepared and with great expectations, however, they do not manage to consolidate the desired recognitions.

Participation 2019

Based on the first experience, in 2019, the organizing committee of UADYMUN prepares a selection process for delegates who have participated in this model.
