Is the United Nations agency responsible for the protection and promotion of children’s rights, having as its main objective to help countries to ensure the development of the maximum potential of all children, and through their reports, generates the world’s leading source of reliable data and analysis on the situation of children, UNICEF uses these results to drive change.
Guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, UNICEF, with funding provided solely by voluntary contributions from governments and the private sector, works in more than 190 countries to ensure that the rights contained in this document become enduring ethical principles and international standards of conduct for children everywhere.
