Is the United Nations organ in charge of the peaceful and diplomatic resolution of conflicts. In these discussions, resolutions are drawn up on the topics discussed, and all member states are obliged to abide by the established points.

 

The charter of the United Nations, establishes that the UN and its member states “confer on the Security Council primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security.” And for this purpose, delimits the powers of the council to impose sanctions or even authorize the use of force to maintain or restore international peace and security, to call on members to apply economic sanctions and other nonviolent measures, to take military action against an aggressor, and many more.
